Gender Analysis in Economics @ Peradeniya (GAP) is a collaboration between the Postgraduate Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences (PGIHS) of the University of Peradeniya and the American University in Washington, D.C. The Program on Gender Analysis in Economics (PGAE) of the American University, Washington DC at American University is a leader in producing policy analysts and scholars promoting the greater empowerment of women worldwide. Academic staff members of the Gender Analysis in Economics @ Peradeniya were trained and supported by the PGAE American University in developing curricula that will give analysts and advocacy groups the training and skills to be effective in designing and pushing for policies that promote gender equality.
